Mr. & Mrs. Knapp [Part I]

So much love, planning and consideration went into May 26th, 2012.  Family and friends gathered to watch Kellie and Steve commit their futures to one another.  Time stood still as two became one.

When Kellie and I met up for the day she asked me how I was-and she meant it.  I heard her talking to her hairdresser-wanting to know how her day was going and once again-she meant it. Kellie has such a considerate spirit.  Even while it was her day, she was still very aware of those around her.  It was such a joy to spend the day with her.  She was peaceful and giddy at the same time, as happy as a bride could be on her wedding day!

I truly believe that the joy that they both felt on this day came from a deep place of knowing that their marriage was ordained by God.

Both of their families shared in the excitement that they felt.

While the bride’s mother helped her with her dress, the groom’s mom helped him place his flower just right. Anticipation was in the air while they got ready just a couple of rooms away from one another.  We were very careful to make sure that they didn’t get a glimpse of each other til she walked down the aisle, since this was important to them! :)

Steve was surrounded by great friends and great support in his groomsmen!

Not to mention a handsome ring bearer!

Loved the grey suits by the way!

It’s hard work being this dashing isn’t it gentlemen?

We snuck Steve away before bringing Kellie into the photos :)

And now it was Kellie’s turn to get photos with her girls! Look at that lavender and how it makes their eyes pop!

They were so excited for their friend :)

And these girls were so much fun!  They were all for my crazy ideas! :)  Yes, this involved me lying on the ground while they gave me their best silly faces-but I love it!

And here Steve gets some love from the bridesmaids…

…But we all know he has eyes only for his beautiful bride! :)

Kellie and the matrons of honor counting down the minutes til the ceremony begins!

And now the moment we all waited for….

The groom tears up as he sees his sweet bride.  And she’s  just as thrilled to see her handsome groom!

See what I meant about time standing still?

A cord of three cannot be broken.

See that joy?  It’s contagious :)

First kiss as Mr. & Mrs. Knapp!

Kellie and Steve, I can’t thank you enough for being so gracious and encouraging the whole day through.  I left feeling like my spirit had been lifted!  I’m excited to share the rest of the photos with you, I wanted you to be able to have a quick peak! :)  Happy honeymooning! :)

Love,

Jenny
