Jacqueline and Felix first met on the 54 Lawrence bus in the morning. Little did they know that one day they would promise each other forever. On May 23, family and friends gathered for the celebration of their wedding. This wedding was filled with joy, love and culture. Everyone spoke very highly of Felix’s calm and patient manner. Jacqueline’s heart and sweet spirit were commended numerous times. Most of all it’s clear that they are even better together.
The day began at Jacqueline’s mother’s house for some fun getting ready photos.
The bridesmaids and maid of honour were adorned in purple. The adorable flower girl rocked her white dress. Jacqueline’s mom and ladies help her into her gown.
Felix had a lot of support from his best man and groomsmen.
The ceremony was held at Global Kingdom Ministries. The next photo made me giggle so I had to include it!
Jacqueline’s brother walked her down the aisle and as the ever patient groom watched, a smile filled his face.
After a meaningful ceremony we headed to the Miliken Park for the family and bridal party photos.
We made sure to capture some photos of the gorgeous bride and handsome groom!
The reception was surely a celebration! It was held at the Peter and Paul Banquet hall. I have to say I love a bridal party and family that know how to make an entrance! One pair after another they showed off their dance moves.
Felix had a wonderful surprise planned. It sounded like their entrance song was just a track but it was live! A Ugandan artist, Chameleone, sang them in. The guests were thrilled, but even better–Jacqueline was completely surprised!
The performances continued with drums and dancing by Shangaza.
As you heard in the highlight video, heartfelt speeches were shared throughout the night.
