Laura and Mark are high school sweethearts that met working at Lick’s Burgers. Fast forward more than a decade and they finally got married! Laura got ready at her parent’s house with her lovely sisters, adorable niece and nephew and best friends.
The rest of the day was spent at the Willow Springs Winery in Stouffville. I can’t say enough good things about this venue! So many beautiful backdrops and textures to work with for photos! The day was also perfect for an outdoor wedding; warm yet great cloud coverage.
Family and friends were all smiles when the flower girl and ring bearer came down the aisle. The ring bearer’s sign read “Uncle Mark! Here comes your Bride!” A hush fell over the guests as Laura’s dad walked her down the aisle towards Mark.
Their former bosses from Lick’s were the witnesses that signed the marriage certificate. What a way to honour people that are like a third set of parents to them! Laura and Mark exchanged rings and vows and finally sealed it with a kiss.
Mark and his groomsmen were looking great in their grey suits!
I’m loving the ladies’ ombre dresses!
With lots of practice from their engagement photo session Mark and Laura were brilliant for their couple pho
tos!
The reception was a time of celebration with details that showed the couple’s personalities. Laura’s sister Erin made the beautiful lace love birds cake. Mark had a guitar as their guestbook!
Between their “Spread the Love” jam favours, an awesome cookie bar, stunning love marquee letters and a flower girl that stole the show on the dance floor, the reception was a success!
Congratulations Mark and Laura! And in the words of everyone at the wedding–it’s about time!! :)
All the best,
Jennifer
