Angela and James had such a FUN and meaningful wedding day at the Kortright Centre for Conservation! Let’s start at the beginning of it all…Angela was living with four ladies and when they decided to move, they showed their apartment to a couple guys. You guessed it, James was one of those guys! They went their separate ways but both Angela and James looked for an excuse to see each other again. Angela’s friend said they should send the guys an email and tell them they would love to show them the area before they moved in. The guys took the ladies up on their offer and needless to say, James and Angela hit it off and their relationship continued!
Another important part of the couple’s story is their rescue dog Wash. He walked Angela down the aisle and shone bright in lots of photos! For the kissing game at their reception, they took donations towards the Team Dog Rescue charity. I have a fascination with crafting, so I was incredibly impressed with the handmade flowers-especially the ones made out of comic book pages! I would also be amiss if I didn’t mention their incredible taste in desserts!! To take a look at all of these fun details and the strong bond that this couple shares, enjoy these photos from their big day!
We had to get a “Johnson” family photo!! (Fun fact: The groom’s name is James Johnson. James is my maiden name and Johnson is my married last name!) This was the last wedding that I photographed with my little assistant in my belly! I don’t know how they found the time to think of it but they gifted our baby girl with some beautiful blankets. Angela and James, not only were you accepting of having a pregnant photographer but you celebrated it, and I can’t thank you enough for it!! <3
Thank you for such an amazing day! We wish you a marriage as beautiful as your wedding!
