Do you remember the Tuesday wedding I talked about on my instagram? The photos are ready! Caroline and Cameron had an intimate ceremony with their close family and friends on their own property! This couple, along with their partner Nick, own Compass Rose Weddings in Prince Edward County.
A few things you’ll want to know about this fun couple is that they both went to Guelph Unniversity, lived in Thailand for a year and then lived in Scotland! They both love travel, music and food. Their newest adventure is purchasing this stunning property and running it as an event venue.
During the ceremony they embraced an old European tradition by setting their vows in stone. They each placed their hands on a stone while saying their vows which expressed their promises in physical form. I love witnessing and learning about various cultural traditions within wedding ceremonies. This Scottish “Oathing Stone” tradition is just one of the many meaningful aspects of their wedding.
Congratulations to Caroline and Cameron! Thank you for having me photograph your wedding!
