Debbie’s son walked her down the aisle towards Matt. Their wedding was a celebration of two families coming together. Their children stood as their bridal party and the entire family signed the register.
This special day might not have been the original wedding that they planned. Yet despite restrictions due to the pandemic, their marriage was safely honoured. As travel and guest restrictions are a part of our reality, it was and is so important for them to have photos and video to share with their friends and family that were not able to be physically present. This is what a 14 person wedding can look like. What a meaningful, intimate wedding that was held at Tangle Creek Golf in Thornton, Ontario.
During their family dinner, the two eldest children from each side shared speeches. Debbie’s son said, “Matthew, for three boys, we can be pretty protective of our mom. I think it speaks to the kind of man that you are that since the very beginning we felt she was being taken care of, watched out for and loved from the get go.” Matthew’s daughter said, “I couldn’t be more proud of the dad you are to all of us and the husband you will be to Deb.”
Congratulations Matthew and Debbie! Thank you for having us as a part of your celebration!
