Our curly little redhead Joy turns 2 today! 🎈

🗒️ I keep a note in my phone where I jot down everyday moments I’m thankful for or cute things that the girls say.

I wrote down…a few days before her 2nd birthday Joy said “I love you” back to me tonight. I know she’s always loved me but she said it with her words. ❤️

🎨 She loves to do art, she sings and dances 🎵 with her whole being and she’s fiercely loyal to her sister. She’s loud at home and for now quieter in groups of people. Joy loves to play soccer! ⚽️

She’s always making sure that everyone at the table has something to eat. As soon as I give her something she points to to her sister and says “Hope Hope Hope” until I give her some too and then points to Dada! Once I didn’t have any food left on my plate so she gave me some of hers.

Joy we adore you right down to your core. We love seeing the world and experiences through your bright eyes. 😍

You are a source of light ☀️ and we are forever grateful that God have you to us as a part of our family. You’ve always been a part of us.

10 years

We’ve been married for 10 years today and it feels like such a big milestone!

I love this man and the life we’ve built. My husband, the father of our darling girls, my heart and my home.

I celebrate our anniversary and feel grateful to have made it this far! I think it’s important to take the time to celebrate and recognize the joy and hopeful moments.

We’ve been through so much together, through it all we are just that-together.

Happy Birthday to our sweet girl Hope!! She is FIVE today!

Today I took some time to sit, reflect and write out the 5 ways that I want to be more like Hope. This was my #4...

*Hope knows how to celebrate herself and celebrate life.*

Hope loves to help decorate, set the table and get things ready for a celebration. “Mama I like doing this with you”, she tells me. Her teacher creates a calendar every month for what days they have outdoor learning, library or phys ed. On it she writes the childrens’ birthdays. Ever since the beginning of the year she has been asking us “Are you excited for the March calendar?” Today is the very exciting day her calendar says “Happy 5th birthday Hope!”
